A Little About Andover

It has been said that the City of Andover is one of Anoka County's best kept secrets. About 20 miles from downtown Minnepolis is this exciting suburb with a rural atmosphere. Population is just over 30,000 and activities include abundant parks, trails, lakes and recreational areas. You will also find great shopping, restaurants, universities, athletic events, golf, arts and more.

The Andover City Center Complex is a central point for many community activities including the famous Andover Family Fun Fest held in July each year. There is also a YMCA/Community Center, Senior Center, City Offices and the Public Works Department. The schools, Andover High School and St. Francis High Schools, are great schools and offer a rigorous education, sports, drama, music and many more after school acitivities.
