Introduction

This is a blog about real estate in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis; Coon Rapids, Andover, Blaine, Ramsey, Champlin, Bethel, Ham Lake, and the rest of Anoka County. Great places to live and play. There is an abundance of parks and lakes. We have Bunker Hills Regional Park which includes a golf course, Bunker Beach, stables, walking/jogging trails, and more; Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park, Rum River Central Regional Park where you can cross country ski and so many more. Andover boasts the recently built YMCA which includes ice skating, swimming, a gym and more. Shopping is plentiful and convenient.

A little about me - I have been a Realtor since 1993, helping people buy and sell homes in San Francisco and the United States Virgin Islands. I recently moved back to my home town of Minneapolis, Minnesota and obtained my real estate license so I could help people buy and sell real estate in Minnesota. Edina Realty is the company I have chosen to work for and I have loved getting started here.

The question I am asked all the time is, "Why would you move from the Virgin Islands to Minnesota? Did you know about the snow?" I did grow up here so do know what I am in for. Housing prices are fantastic here, a huge difference from the Virgin Islands. People are so nice here. The atmosphere is hard to beat. Schools are great and my daughter is able to attend a great school. So far it has been a great move and I love it.

I will use this blog to inform you about the real estate market, let you know homes and condos that are available, give you up to date real estate news and statistics and answer any questions you have. I am looking forward to living and working here in Anoka County.
